From Glasgow and Edinburgh
On approaching Perth from the South follow signs for Dundee taking you over the Friarton Bridge at the east side of Perth. At the end of the bridge, turn left into Perth. Drive straight through this area of Perth (Bridgend) and take the A93 to Blairgowrie. Through Blairgowrie take road to Alyth, the A926 and continue until roundabout. Take 2nd left off roundabout, marked Glenisla, driving past the Alyth and Glenisla Golf Clubs to a T junction. Turn right onto the B954 and continue on this road until half a mile past the Bridge of Craigisla (Reekie Linn). Do not go straight on to Peel Farm but instead turn left. At the T junction near the Blackwater Dam, turn left onto the B951 taking you into Glenisla.

Follow the road into the glen and when the River Isla is on your left look for the next turning on your left onto an un-surfaced track. It is opposite a letter box and is within a small group of trees about a mile east of the Glenisla Hotel. Follow the un-surfaced track across the river on a bridge. Immediately after the bridge there is a sharp right turn and then the track goes up a hill for a short distance. At the point it swings sharply to the left, a subsidiary track on the corner goes downhill to the right. The lodge is at the bottom of this track. Take great care if it is icy. If you are not in a four wheel drive and it is icy/snowy, it is recommended to leave your car near the corner mentioned above rather than in the car park adjacent to the lodges. Please note though that the track itself must be kept clear to allow the local farmer access to his fields.

From Aberdeen
Turn off the main A90 at the signs for Kirriemuir. Drive to Kirriemuir the take the B951 which will take you right into Glenisla. Then follow the instructions in the paragraph above.
